Experience centre

Three halls. One universe of stories.

More than 1000 space objects live here — not behind glass alone, but woven into narratives about where we came from, where we are going, and how India reads the sky. Move from immersive 3D worlds to the mathematics of starlight, then roll up your sleeves in the learning lab.

3D Hall — exhibit at Tanmaye's Amazing Space

India’s first Space 3D Hall

3D Hall

Walk through Mars dust, glide past the Moon, and stand under a canopy of constellations. This hall turns textbook diagrams into something you can feel — rockets, launch control, astronauts in suits, and milestones from ISRO’s journey, all in vivid depth.

What you will discover

  • Feel Mars, the Moon, and immersive planetary worlds
  • Ancient Indian astronomy & world astronomy architects
  • Galaxies through telescope stories & 3D galaxy models
  • Rocket history, inventions for space, and the International Space Station
  • Friday Film Fiesta — cinema meets cosmology
  • ISRO milestones you can point to and discuss
Black Hall — exhibit at Tanmaye's Amazing Space

Largest. Brightest. Nearest.

Black Hall

This is where stars become characters: birth, life, and spectacular endings. You’ll meet the HR diagram like a map of destinies, wander constellations in 3D, and touch ideas as big as the universe — black holes, supernovae, and the story of everything.

What you will discover

  • Stellar evolution & the Hertzsprung–Russell diagram
  • Constellations in 3D — patterns that guided travellers for millennia
  • Types of stars, black holes, and supernova drama
  • Celestial sphere with Earth — how the sky “works”
  • Space Gufa, celestial play, and equation walls for curious minds
White Hall — exhibit at Tanmaye's Amazing Space

Read, make, compete, collaborate

White Hall

Hands meet minds here: rare books, 3D models, software corners, workshops, and teacher training. From asteroid search campaigns to Olympiad prep — this hall is where visitors become participants.

What you will discover

  • Ancient Indian books & 3D model displays
  • Asteroid search campaigns & NASA TV corner
  • Workshops, internships, and teacher training
  • Jigsaw puzzles & space products to take home
  • Olympiad training centre for serious young astronomers
