Where should I see…
Grus, is the constellation which is towards west of Phoenix constellation. If you move your eyes towards east, you will see another constellation named Eridanus. In the North of Phoenix, you will find Fornax and Sculptor and in South, Hydrus and Tucana constellations respectively. Phoenix is halfway between celestial equator and South Pole, and so is fully part of Southern Hemisphere.
It covers up 469 square degree area of the sky. Area wise it is 37th largest constellation in the sky.
