Hubble estimates the size of a comet from deep space

Using the Hubble Space Telescope, a team of astronomers has imaged an interstellar comet. This icy body was discovered by NASA’s Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) on July 1, 2025, when it was 420 million miles (676 million kilometers) from the Sun.
